Founded in Costa Rica in 1932, Roblealto Child Care Association is a non-profit Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) that responds to the social problems of children and their families. They provide services for approximately 650 children and adolescents who have little access to social services and few economic resources or opportunities for their healthy development.

Roblealto has several programs that focus on the healthy development of at risk children and adolescents. This includes, three day care centres, a boarding lodge for children specialsing in learning difficulties and emotional traumas and a Programme for Graduating Adolescents.

Roblealto's mission is much more than simply feeding and caring for children. They give young people a foundation, where they learn, value, and respect themselves. The values these children come to possess are then spread like seeds in their homes and communities.
